Question

Trouble uploading documents on a MacBook Pro. I click Upload, select a folder but am not given the option to Save.

You might not have permission for that folder.   Try saving to your desktop.  If it persists - restart the Mac.

You're saying restart the computer when you can't save the file to keep from losing it in the process?  This makes no sense to me.
