I am using Turbo Tax Premier on Windows and am unable to pay the state efile fee online. Keep getting an error message to "try again later". After a couple days I called the 877 number to pay the fee via phone. The lady that answered the call had no idea how to do this. This is ridiculous!!!
Anyone have any idea how to get the efile fee paid so I can efile my return. Thanks in advance.

You can pay your efile fee by letting it (and an additional $40) get deducted from your refund. I have a similar issue. I cannot pay my efile fee with a credit card in turbo tax, I just hit a wall and I can go no further so I have to back out one step and do it the above way. I have used turbotax almost 40 years and have had to do it this way for 2 years SINCE I got my new samsung laptop. I tested this recently by trying to use the software on our HP laptop and there I could get to the point of paying the efile fee. They both use the same antivirus software. So it has to be something with the samsung laptop.
