transfer .tax file after starting return

I installed turbotax on my computer. I started my return without transferring my .tax2020 file. Now I would like to transfer the .tax2020 file into my return that I already started. Is that possible?

No it is not. Transfer must be done as the first step.

I started doing my tax return earlier today. I didn't know how to save it. I want to return and finish now.

If you are using Turbo Tax online, it will save automatically. For the CD/Download you can click on File and Save.
