Transfer 2023 desktop return into 2024 online return

I have already read the help article here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/transfer-last-year-return-turbotax-online/L279eUvY2_US_en_US?uid=m72f1sd6
But the instructions are incorrect because there is no Tax Tools option in the left navigation as stated in step 3. I called TT help and spent over an hour with a support person who also couldn't figure it out.

Wondering if anyone has figured it out? Thanks.

You must be signed onto the 2024 online account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/ And you must be actually accessing the 2024 online tax return. And you must have opened/started one of the sections of the tax return, such as Personal Info, Wages & Income, Deductions & Credit, etc. before the links on the left side of the online program screen become available.

Thank you, however I was doing that and Tax Tools was not visible.

I just went back in and realized that the middle section of navigation scrolls by itself and Tax Tools is all the way at the bottom of that! I was literally on the phone with a Turbo Tax support person for 1 hour 8 minutes and we couldn't find it - maybe we didn't scroll? Anyway, it's there and it worked. Thanks for the little nudge to try it again.
