Transfer 2020 to 2021

Is there any way to transfer a 2020 return prepared in TT Tax Freedom (IRS Free File program) to 2021 TT Free?

If you log into the same account and they will not allow the transfer  ... then try downloading the .taxfile instead.  Then start a new return with a new account User ID  and when you are asked if you used TT last year say yes but indicate it was the downloaded program ... doing this allows you to point the program to the saved .tax2020 file on your desktop.

I was able to successfully do the transfer, and complete my friend's 2021 Federal and State returns at no cost!
