Too late to submit extension electronically

I need to submit an extension for a tax return.  I am in Texas.  Our deadline is June 15, 2021, not May 17, 2021.  Is it not possible for me to submit the extension electronically because TurboTax doesn't recognize June 15, 2021 deadline?

I think this will be my last tax season with TurboTax because they just recycle old code every year.  In TurboTax desktop version for Window, the columns on Schedule B are in the wrong order.  Has been this way for years.  I called TT about this a while back.  The response was, "So?"

Thank you very much.

Yes, it is to late to file an extension request electronically, as stated by the IRS.

Victims in FEMA Disaster Areas: Mail Your Request for an Extension of Time to File

To request an extension to file your federal taxes after May 17, 2021, print and mail Form 4868, Application for Automatic Extension of Time To File U.S. Individual Income Tax Return.  We can’t process extension requests filed electronically after May 17, 2021.

OK, I see that.  So, not TurboTax's fault in this instance.

For the return in question, a refund is due.  So, there's really no need to request an extension according to what I have read.

I'll still be looking for a different product for my 2021 taxes.

TurboTax Schedule B and the IRS Schedule B are exactly the same.

Schedule B columns?  There is only 1 amount column.  Can you elaborate?  Are the individual entries showing up in a different order than you want?  What Schedule B are you looking at?  Maybe a backup or detail worksheet?

Regarding Schedule B, I misspoke.  I meant to say 1099-B.  In TTax Deluxe for Windows,  the entries for Date Acquired (1b) and Date Sold (1c) are in reverse order.  It has been this way for years and would be easy for Intuit to fix.  As I stated previously, I called TTax about this matter and the response was, "So?"

I hope this clarifies the matter.

Also, TTax Deluxe for Windows handles the $300 Charitable Contribution deduction for those who do not itemize very poorly.  TTax gets very confused and may or may not resolve the issue prior to completing the return.

Oh you mean on this screen?  I see the 1b and 1c are reversed from the actual IRS 1099B

Correct.  Has been this way for a long time in the code that is recycled annually.  Should be easy fix.

If date is imported from brokerage statement, TTax handles the date properly.
