Ok I accidentally clicked on the adoption portion but I didn't adopt a child. I can't get back to that screen to correct it.

To get back to the adoption portion of the interview, please follow these steps:

1. While in your return, click Deductions & Credits at the top of the screen.
2. In the You and Your Family section click the Start/Update box next to Adoption Credit.
3. On the screen, Review your adoptive child info click the delete icon (trashcan) next to the entry.
4. Click Yes on the pop-up window.
5. Click Done on the next two screens.
