The Self-Employed version of TurboTax Online replaced our Home & Business process.  If you receive income via Form 1099-MISC as an independent contractor, you are considered to be self-employed and must file Schedule C.

If you only have income, you can use Deluxe or Premier; however, if you have expenses, then you must use the Self-Employed version.

You can change it now by using our clear & start over feature.  It will recommend self-employed, but you have an option to choose another version.

Please refer to the instructions below to clear and start over.
