The turbotax software imported my 1099-div forms. But it duplicated the dividends and capital gains causing a $17,849 over payment with the electronic filing on March 25.

File an amended return and remove the duplicated entries. You will receive a refund of any taxes you overpaid due to the double import. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/7276605
