There is no indication that there is a charge for paying the TurboTax fee from your refund. This is poor business practice, to say the least. Very deceptive. Will seriously consider moving to another tax preparation software next season.

The screens do tell you that there is a $40 ($45 in CA) fee to use refund processing and pay your fees from your federal refund.   Sadly, too many users are in too much of a hurry to read carefully and they miss it and rush to file without realizing that they have just agreed to pay an extra fee to a third party bank.  And further....you signed an agreement that says if the IRS takes too long to issue your refund, TurboTax can take its fees out of your bank account.       It is far better to pay your fees upfront BEFORE you file and use your own credit or debit card.
