I requested a 4/12/19 payment date; paid my required e-tax fee. Saw a button to send returns. It appears TT send my taxes regardless of the requested date. True?

Did the last button override the requested delivery Date?

The return is sent to the IRS when you press the send button.  The payment is generally taken by the IRS and/or your state on the date you request.  

If you send your return on the same day that you request the payment to be processed, there is a chance that your payment may not be processed at all.
