The IRS hasn't pulled payment from my bank.

I filed my taxes with turbo tax and the it has been accepted on the day of 4/14 and the payment date was the 4/15 and its been almost two weeks already and they haven't taken payment. Is there a way to check if I put my account and routing number correct? I have already called to check if my payment went through but they said they don't have any records?

The bank routing and account number you entered for direct debit from your bank account will be on the Filing Instructions page for the tax return.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return

Did you look at the Filing Instructions page or the state tax return?  The Filing Instructions page for the state tax return will be labeled Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2023 (State Name) Tax Return.  It shows at the top of the Filing Instructions page the routing and account number.

Or you can download your tax return to include all worksheets and in the State Information Worksheet in Part V the bank name, routing number and account number will be shown.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

I forgot to mention I am not w-2. I'm using 1040 since I was self employed. I don't see the page your talking about.

Does not matter if you are self-employed.  The Filing Instructions and the State Information work sheet will be included in the PDF download of your tax return when you select to have all worksheets included.  The state forms, schedules and worksheets will be shown directly below the federal forms, schedules and worksheets when viewing the PDF.

Please see this link for additional guidance.  If you are still not seeing the payment being taken out of your bank account, you may need to contact the IRS directly.
