I wonder why TurboTax support help couldn't tell me this a few weeks ago when I called. I've used TT for years and never had a problem like this.
I upgraded Catalina to 10.15.2 today and re-downloaded TT 2019 Deluxe and got the same non-start that happened before. I thought I would try this site this time instead of calling Support. Your fixit did the trick.
Catalina seems to have introduced several problems that didn't exist before. Thanks again.
