Turbo Tax on-line will not allow me to start on my 2018 taxes. It is forcing me to go to do 2017 taxes. 2017 taxes were completed by an accountant.

The TurboTax online editions for tax year 2018 can no longer be used to start a new 2018 tax return after October 15, 2019.

To create, complete and file a 2018 tax return you will need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2018 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

A 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

There is no technical problem.   Oct 15, 2019 was the last day to do 2018 online - it is now closed forever.

2-018 can now only be done using the CD/download products.
