Taxpayer SSN should not be entered directly on the Georgia information worksheet for electronic filing. You must complete the federal personal information worksheet?

If you are in the online version, you need to click on MY INFO on the left hand side of your screen in the black area.

Click on the Edit button next to your name and make sure that your SSN is entered in this section of TurboTax.  You must have added it to your Georgia worksheet.  You will need to remove it to e-file.

I have my SSN entered in the “my info” section, but when I try to eFile it, I am running into the above issue.

Are you receiving your error on a state return as well? Along with entering the information on the Federal My Info tab only, review the information in the state screens. Verify that you have not entered this information again separately. You may try deleting the state and re-entering the information or deleting the state worksheet.

1. Under Tax Tools, choose Tools
2. Choose Delete a Form
3. Scroll through your return until you find state information worksheet, click Delete to the right of the form
4. Confirm that you wish to delete the form
