Taxes Rejected for duplicate 1099R

My taxes was rejected because I had the wrong and duplicate account numbers on my 1099R's.  I resubmitted today 3/30/2021and did not realize it was the account number that was wrong.

Please let me know how I can resubmit with the correct account numbers.

Taxes Rejected for duplicate 1099R

If your return was Rejected, it's as if you never e-filed.

You should be able to log in to your TurboTax account and reopen your return (Online) or just start the Cd/download executable again, make the changes, and go through the e-file process again.

But if your return was Accepted, you will have to amend your return.

If neither one, then wait a day or two to see which status your return has.

To learn more information on how to amend your return, please see this TurboTax FAQ.

Taxes Rejected for duplicate 1099R

I have e-filed my taxes three time and each time they were rejected by the IRS. I called the IRS and they said it must be a software problem with Turbo tax and that I would have to either use a different software or mail it in.

At this point I am tried of trying. Regardless of what information I put in, there is no duplication of my 1099R's.

I have two that look identical but different names. When I put the account number in the Federal ID (Payer TIN) it came back invalid number before I could submit.

I mailed my taxes today!!!!
