If you are doing a business return for self employment you would fill out self employment form. If a customer sent you a 1099 Misc form showing what they paid you for the year that is considered part or all of your income, just depends if you had others that you were contracting for then you would add all 1099 Misc you received from your customers and that would be your self employment income then you would take your deductions from your total income. I hope that helps answer your question Good Luck
They income you received from your business might be reported on different 1099's that your clients send you. You should enter in each 1099 you received on the Schedule C. You might have more income your business made than was reported on the 1099's, you would report that additional income as well in the program.
Do not worry, TurboTax will guide you through how to report the 1099's, any additional income you have from the business, plus the expenses.
