Yes - You can download your information from TD Ameritrade. Please follow these steps:
This is not correct. You are NEVER asked for "User Name" and "Password". TurboTax prompts for "Account Number" and "Document ID". Entering that data results in an error message.... " TurboTax Home and Business 2019 TD Ameritrade Invalid Signon" .... You are then done. Entering you log on and pw doesn't work either. So, any ideas?
Thank you,
To import your 1099 information from Ameritrade, you can follow the steps on the following article. TurboTax will ask you for information to enter in so it is able to download the correct information from your account: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/entering-importing/help/how-do-i-import-my-1099/00/26254
When following the directions for downloading 1099 from TD Ameritrade, an error message "TD Ameritrade Invalid Signon" appears.
@daveatax2007 It sounds like you did not use the correct Sign In for your Ameritrade Account.
This would be the same Sign In you use to check your account online. You may need to recover your user name and password if you can't Sign In outside TurboTax.
If you have issues downloading your 1099s, you can always enter them manually.
