Turbotax has filed my return for the past 3 years.

For this tax year, 2023, I received a letter from the IRS stating that my return is under review and my refund will be delayed.

Can you please shed some light on why this has happened and what I should expect to happen next.

The IRS occasionally chooses random tax returns for individual review as a quality control measure. You can track the status using Track My Refund. If the delay becomes unreasonable (more than a few months), you may wish to contact the Taxpayer Advocate Service for assistance.
