My tax return was rejected. How do i file this late?

Using TurboTax you can e-file a 2019 tax return at any time on or before October 15, 2020.  Or you can print and mail the 2019 tax return at any time.

Why was the 2019 federal tax return rejected?  

The TurboTax email you received for the rejected tax return gave you a rejection code and message.  What does it say?

If you can fix the error that caused the rejection, you can attempt to re-transmit your return (try to e-file again).  If accepted, then you are done.  If you are rejected again, you can print your return, sign it, and mail it in.  Use a mail service that gives you a tracking number and proof of delivery. The address to mail your return to will be on a cover page that prints when you print your return.

Easy correction ... edit yourself in MY INFO then complete the FILE tab again to refile.
