Good afternoon,
We received an IRS letter about our 2020 income tax refund; it is reduced from $4,928 to $3,728. It is even lower than 2019 ($4,108) and 2018 ($4,229). Is it correct?
How can I attach the letter in the order you review it?

Sorry, but no one in this forum can review your letter.  But I may have an idea.

It appears that your refund was adjusted by $1200, which would be the total of the 2nd stimulus payment for a qualified married couple.  Did you maybe report that you had not received this stimulus when filing your tax return, when in fact you DID receive it?

The IRS is processing returns and double-checking for receipt of these stimulus payments.  This may have nothing to do with your situation, but it seems plausible.  Just a guess.

You'll need to contact the IRS by phone for clarification of the adjustment if the letter doesn't fully explain the adjustment.
