I bought the desktop version but it isn't compatible and my computer is old and won't update to windows 11.  I bought it to file 5 returns and now have to

use the online version and it will

only file one tax return.  How can I get around this? I'm not paying for each one, that's ridiculous.  Someone please help!!

Sorry Online is only good for 1 return.  You have to setup a new account for each person.   You can use the same email address for 5 accounts.  Maybe some can use the Free Edition.

If you used the Desktop program before you may notice several differences and not like the online version.  It has less features and no Forms Mode.  You can only do 1 return per account.   Although you can use the same email address for 5 separate accounts.  Your return is only saved online so be sure to save both the .tax2025 data file and the pdf file to your computer when you are done.  In case you need to amend in the future or if you need a copy to get a loan or something.  You might not be able to access your online return when you need a copy.

You can start another return in TurboTax Online by:

    1. Logging out if you are in your account
    2. Choose what TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second return
    3. Create your account screen
    4. Set up a new login for the second return
    5. Start working on the new return

Since you have so many returns to prepare, be aware that TurboTax has a couple of competitors that allow software to be installed on Windows 10.  You would have to check with them to see what features, number of efiled returns, etc.
