It want me to put in a Suffix !! I don't have one !! It won't except with out one !! How do I correct this ??

Are you talking about the My Info or Personal Info sections?

Have you tried blanking out the suffix fields, even if they appear to be blank? How about putting the cursor on the field, and hitting the Delete key?

Are you getting an error message? What is it?

When I try filing my State of Ia forms , I get this error and then it takes me to the error to correct it !! I've try enter every suffix i can think of, nothing worked. I've cleared the box several times to no avail ,I've used TurboTax for years and never had this problem, My name and address has always been transfered from year to year!! But it won't let me file till it's corrected!! I'm at wits end you might say!!

Is there any resolution on this?

I'm having the exact same issue. Can't e-file with this error. Keeps coming back to an empty suffix field.

I found the solution to this after contacting support and getting on with their tech support.

The suffix field on my Iowa state return is what was the error issue that would not let me e-file.

The solution:

Go to your Federal 1099-DIV entry screen that lists out all your 1099-DIVs. Edit each one so that the Payer field is only 15 characters or less. That should fix the problem and not give you the Suffix error.
