Student studying abroad - am I eligible for the tax extension?

I'm a non-resident alien for tax purposes. I'm living abroad from February to May. Am I eligible for the tax extension until June 15, 2024?

And if so, what kind of statement can I attach to my paper tax return filing to prove that I am eligible for this extension? Do I just put in a piece of paper that states my name, signature, and that I was abroad at the time the tax year concluded (April 15)?

TurboTax does not handle the 1040NR which is the NRA return.  The rules for NRA's are different.  You can contact Sprintax.com for answers regarding filing and extensions when you need to file the 1040NR.
