I have started a forgiveness program for student loans. I have to make 5 payments before I'm qualified to Not garnish tax return. How can I extend return for one month

Just file the tax return at a later date. The information you have entered on the online tax return is automatically saved as it is entered. Just click on Sign Off at the bottom left of the online program screen. Remember or write down our User ID and Password so that you can continue your tax return.

If you have a tax refund the 2019 tax return does not have to be filed until April 15, 2023. If taxes are owed on the 2019 tax return then it has to be filed on or before April 15, 2020.
