I opted to utilize the anticipation loan through Turbo Tax. Which meant that I had to go through a third party bank out of California. Because of this I did not receive the stimulus direct deposit along with the rest of America today. I was however able to log into the IRS Website “where’s my payment” and update my banking information. I used my Turbo Card information to have my stimulus deposited information, to avoid having to wait for a paper check. I would likely have been back to work before that check ever came. I’m not happy about this but I’m sure glad the government is on their game and giving us options. So again..anyone who opted to receive the anticipation loan will either get a paper check or have to update your banking information with the IRS. Sending everybody love and good vibes.

I need to add my bank information for direct deposit
If you received the anticipation loan through TurboTax..the IRS does NOT have your direct deposit information. If you do not update it in the new tool where’s my payment, you will not get direct deposit. Good luck. Be sure you enter the correct printing and account numbers because you cannot fix it if you mess it up.
Check the IRS website and update your bank information if necessary. Be sure the "account number" is verified at the Greendot. com website; do not assume the card number is the account number. AGI is line 7 on your 2018 return and line 8B on your 2019 return. Refund is line 21a of the 2019 tax return. and line 20a for 2018
I just tried to verify my account number on the Greendot.com website and it redirected me to the Turbocard website. I have already submitted my updated direct deposit information to the IRS via “where’s my payment” I used the account number and routing number (Turbo Card) from my tax return. However, I can’t verify that the account number is register through Greendot. I used The Green Dot Bank, account and routing number for my stimulus payment. What now? I’m not even sure now if it’s even a good account! I still use my turbo card! So I assume it is? Please help!
