My parents claimed me in 2019 tax return. For this year's tax return (2020), I am now independent. I filed on Turbotax on March 30 and I have not received any stimulus check or heard from the IRS. When I check the site, it says there is an error and it can not find my information. Does this mean I won't receive anything? Or do I need to continue to be patient in hopes I will get it later on?

You cannot file a 2020 tax return yet--2020 is not over. 2019 returns get filed in 2020. If your parents claimed you as a dependent on the 2019 tax return, you are not eligible for the stimulus. The stimulus is based off of 2019 or 2018 tax returns.
Hello,
Oh yes that’s what I meant. My parents claimed me for 2018 (which was filed in 2019) and I became independent for 2019 (which I filed on March 30).

If you indicated on your 2019 return that you cannot be claimed as a dependent by anyone else and you otherwise qualify for the stimulus, then you are eligible for it.
