Stimulus check question

I have not yet filed my 2019 taxes. I am a bit confused about whether or not I will qualify for the check. I read that it will be based off of your 2018 tax return, however I was claimed as a dependent in 2018. I am curious as to whether or not I qualify because my parents did not claim me as a dependent for the 2019 tax year.

Thank you

If you cannot be claimed as a dependent in 2019, you should file your 2019 tax return to receive your stimulus payment. This is because based on your 2018 return, you do not qualify for the stimulus payment.

I recently filed. Will I still get a stimulus check if I just recently filed?

Yes, if you are eligible and you filed your return you should receive the stimulus payment.
