Still waiting on federal refund

I’ve been waiting on my federal return since March. All it’s said the entire time is it’s still being processed and when a date is available they will post it. Do I need to call them or keep waiting?

You have to keep waiting. The IRS is severely backlogged this year, and refunds are taking much longer than usual. Someone posted a few days ago that they got their refund 4 months after they filed. Some could take longer than that.
