You will then be taken through the state interview section.
Proceed through the screens and answer the questions as prompted. Your entries here will populate your state tax return.
Please comment if you are still having issues seeing and working in your state return after performing the steps above.
I got it to work
I followed the directions you gave the other person.
1. verified that Arizona is the only state in My Info
2. Arizona comes up in the section for filling in the state return and the data from federal flowed into it.
1. However, clicking on Edit does nothing.
2. Also, clicking on Add Another State does nothing.
3. I can go to Forms and fill in lines manually, but every time I click back to the Step by Step, it takes me back to the first page of the state return and it still will not go anywhere when I click on Edit or Add another State
I have tried rebooting the whole computer
What else can I do?
My returns NJ and NY will not open, I am resident of NJ and have paid and downloaded NY as well and I have both returns listed as part of "State Taxes" section but when I click on "Start" for any of them I am getting the same info again that it needs to be downlaoded and ran and once this is done it goes nowhere. I have used TT for over 10 years now and had never had this issue.
Have you updated the software? Manually Update TurboTax for Windows Software (Basic, Deluxe, Premier, Home & Business)
