Spousal Support

My wife and I are separated but filing joint taxes. I have been paying her spousal support over the last year. Can I list that on my tax return?

Alimonies for divorces and separations finalized after 2018 are no longer taxable or deductible.

it's not deductible. besides, since your filing jointly if it were deductible to you it would be taxable to her and thus a wash on a joint return.
