Someone stole my W2

I'd already filed using an electronic version of my W2, but wonder what will happen if someone now tries to file as me using the version stolen from my mailbox.

File a report with your local police department most agency's have a easy system where you can do it online. From their it will give you more links chexsystem has saved me. It's just a more in depth verification process. It's never a bad thing to be safe
