Non-taxable social security should not be reported on your tax return, but it will show up on the summary screens in TurboTax. Do you have more itemized deductions than your standard deduction?

You can choose whether you wish to use the Standard Deduction or Itemized Deductions as long as your filing status does not required that you use one over the other. See the instructions in the TurboTax article below to learn how to make that change.
