software doesn't accept disbursement agent's zip code. I called to confirm that it was correct. How do I get past this?

Make sure the two-letter state abbreviation (AZ for Arizona, for example) matches the zip code on your income document (or it may be missing).  Also check the address for any characters that may return an error (# or ,). 

If you imported the document, you may need to delete it and re-enter it manually.  If you're using TurboTax Online, clear your Cache and Cookies to remove links to old data, if you make changes.
