So Turbo Tax does not recognise 2 rather large investment firms. What can I do?

I need to input income from 2 investment firms but Turbo Tax does not recognise them. Huh?

What do you mean by "does not recognize"? Do you mean that the firms are not in the list of TurboTax import partners? It's up to the firm to decide whether or not to partner with TurboTax for importing. It doesn't depend on the size of the firm, and TurboTax cannot force them to be import partners. If they are not import partners, you will have to enter the 1099 information manually.
