So I'm about finished with "premier" and the advertising says that putting in my military W2 will make this fee disappear at this point. It's not, how do I get this fix?

You would need to sign into your Turbo Tax account after you go through the link that offers the discount.

1. Log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you could end up in a loop. 
2.  Then clear your browsing history.
3. Close your browser.
4. Then reopen it, and go the site that offers the discount.
5. Click on the link and sign in to Turbo Tax from that link.

Not be sure you don't navigate from that page prior to signing into your Turbo Tax account.
