Smart Check was finding 2 errors on federal review saying I needed to put amounts in Form 8812 "Credits for Qualifying Children and other Dependents".
Very strange since I have marked no dependents on personal information.
Also, under Federal Taxes section under "You and your family" I didn't visit any of those options since none of them apply like many other lines I don't visit that I know don't apply to my situation.
However, until I went through "You and your family" and answered no to each of the 4 sections I kept getting 2 errors on federal smart check review saying I needed to put amounts in Form 8812 "Credits for Qualifying Children and other Dependents". This is an error that needs fixed, I have never had to answer those questions that don't apply.

If there is a 8812 form then delete it.
I guess that is one way to fix it, but why doesn't Turbotax fix these kind of errors. I even called this in and person on phone viewed what I had and admitted, it shouldn't be showing any errors about form 8812 that didn't apply to anything I had entered. Also, they shouldn't have been any need for me to answer questions in that section.
Maybe it is just too early, when working on state, I was stopped and software said they weren't done working on that form I needed, check back later.
