Should I include my income outside of the U.S. since I left because the J-1 visa was due?

2019 is the third and the last year I stayed in the U.S. with a valid J-1 visa. My visa was due and I left the U.S. in July 2019. I will file the tax return as a resident alien because it is the third calendar year of the J-1 visa. I started working in my country since August 2019 and didn't receive any income from the J-1 sponsor since then. Should I include the income outside of the U.S. since I left?  Thank you.

If you are filing as a Resident Alien, you are required to report 100% of your world wide income on your Form 1040.  You may qualify as a dual status alien, and you would not have to report your non-us income once you ceased being a resident alien.  For more information, see:  Dual Status Aliens
