Sending tax refund to Sbtg when I owed nothing

Why was my tax refund sent to a third party when I didn’t owe fees and was turned down for the loan within 15 mins of applying? There were 3 days from the time I finished my taxes to the time you submitted my stuff to the irs so there was plenty of time to see that I didn’t get the loan and that it shouldn’t have been sent there. Also, you had the acct and rt number for the credit karma account it was going to put on my tax papers that I have a copy of and that’s obviously not where it was sent because it went somewhere else first. I read through all the papers that you sent about opening acct with Sbtg if you get approved for the loan but it says nothing about still doing that if you are turned down. I didn’t use turbo tax for a lot of years because I felt you were overcharging and then I saw it was free to do your taxes in the app and decided to give you another chance but it won’t happen again, this feels very deceptive.

Once the IRS approves their refund, TurboTax is notified and we’ll attempt to transfer their refund to their bank account. TurboTax sends the customer an email letting them know if we were able to successfully deliver their refund up to 5 days early, or if we were unable to expedite their refund. If we were successfully able to deliver their refund up to 5 days early, they can expect to see their refund in their bank account the same day they received an email from us.

If we were unable to expedite their refund at least 1 day early before the refund settlement date provided by the IRS, the customer won't be charged for Up to 5 Days Early. The customer will also get an email and see a notice that says “We could not expedite your refund. No early refund fee was charged” as part of their TurboTax refund tracker.
