Send copy mail?

I use to sent a physical copy to the IRS in previous years but this year I didn't read to do that. Is this now the normal procedure, to send the tax declaration only electronically?

In most cases, when you e-file your Tax Return, you don't have to mail anything in to the IRS.

In the rare case that you do need to mail something, TurboTax will alert you. If you aren't sure, please review your TurboTax Electronic Filing Instructions Page.

There are only a handful of situations when you may need to mail in documentation attached to Form 8453. For a complete list of those situations, please click here to review: When do I need to send in Form 8453?

If you did not print the TurboTax Electronic Filing Instructions Page, please follow these steps to print or view it:

Sign back into your TurboTax Account
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click "Add a State" (You will not be adding a State, this is just a way to get you back into your tax return)
Next select "Tax Tools" (left column) and then "Print Center"
Select "Print, save, or preview this year's return"
Choose to include the "2018 Federal Returns"
Then click "View or Print Forms"
The "TurboTax Electronic Filing Instructions Page" will be the first page. If you are required to mail something in, it will be listed on this sheet.
