Self employment

I have a 1099-MISC for royalties I have received for an IP I own. The version of TurboTax I am using is requiring me to fill out a section on self-employment income/expenses. I'm not self-employed. Can I remove this section or do I have to fill it out?

Self employment

This is dependent on the 1099 MISC you are entering. If there is an amount in Box 7 this will upgrade you to Self-Employed.
