This is the 13th year I've added SE income and the business has not changed. This year, the very first page I see after Personal Info (Wages and Income) says "We need more details on the income information you gave us". RED FLAG! I haven't entered any! The line with "Self-employment Income" for my business shows last years income and $0 for 2022. But there is no Add/Start button, just a grey Edit/Add button, which will allow me to edit/delete/add the business information, NOT enter the income. After that page, it goes straight to expenses or gives me the option to Edit/Add the business again. On the Wages and Income page there is also an option to add other 1099-MISC, but that page says DO NOT enter information here from my SE business. SO, how do I add the business income?

Thanks for your prompt reply. I didn't have that option (i.e., scrolling down at that point showed no other options) anywhere in the Wages & Income/Business/Edit sections, but the options to enter income did appear later after the expenses were entered. I still don't understand why it thought I had entered income (even though the income section was $0) and I had to back track to get the option, but at least you put me on the right track about what to look for. Many thanks.
