Self Employed Medical Insurance Premium deduction

I am retired and receive retirement benefits from my previous employer. I am now self-employed using a LLC as my type of business.  Can I deduct my medical insurance premiums, if they are deducted from my retirement benefit payments?

Self Employed Medical Insurance Premium deduction

No.  If it is employer sponsored coverage, you cannot deduct it as self-employed health insurance.  For any month that you are eligible to participate in employer sponsored coverage you cannot take the self-employed health insurance deduction
