I have entered an incorrect entry and I could not find a way to delete it or modify it. From previous posts it seems that I have to go into edit Self-Employed Income and Expense screen to delete it, but I cannot find an option to go into Expense part.
I was able to manually delete the entry under Schedule C, line 15, but the entry in line 17 of Schedule 1 cannot be modified.
I think this is a bug.

To get back to the area where you entered the self-employed health insurance expense you need to go to the wages and income section of your federal return and scroll down to here-
Click on 'Update' next to 'Business Income and Expenses' and then click 'Edit' next to the name of your business. Follow the prompts and click through until you come to this screen.
Click 'Update' next to 'All other expenses' and then the 6th box is 'Self-Employed Health Insurance Premiums'. Adjust the amount there to reflect what it should.
The 6th entry has 0 dollars value but there is still $2 for Self-Employed Health.
Problem not resolved
If you click on the blue $2 beside Business Deductions and Credits, what appears in the pop-up window? Is it only Self-Employed Health Insurance or is there another source for this total amount?
The screen for self employed health insurance says to go back to the business activity and select from inside the business activity. Follow these steps:
Similar steps have already been given previously. This did not fix the issue.
Do you have Form 7206 underneath your Schedule C in your return? If so, delete it and see if that fixes the issue. Let us know if the form reappears or what happens when you delete it.
I deleted the form but it automatically recreated it. This did not resolve the issue.
Okay, then try to go back to where the $2 is on the form and right-click to access the Supporting Details worksheet. Sometimes an entry gets stuck on, the only way to remove it is to clear out the supporting details worksheet. Please see this discussion, and you may need to apply it in more than one spot. 🤞
As I indicated in my previous note that I think this is a bug. I tried to delete different forms which has this value and none of them work except form 8962 for PTC. Once I deleted this form, the $2 entry is gone. I think maybe when you have form 8962 it assume you won't allow you to add any entry to Self-Employed Health Insurance Deduction. But if you added an entry before you produce the form 8962, it won't let you go back to change it. That's my guess, and you can ask your programmer to check the logic.
