I am getting an error on the "carryover worksheet". Turbotax is indicating my value in line 24 does not match the sum of each each activity. I have 4 individual rental homes but only 1 has any carryover activity listed. It matched what is entered on line 24 and it matches the amount identified in my 2022 Turbotax documents.
What do I need to do to correct his error?

Yes, I have TT updated. It seems to update everyother time I log on to my desktop.
Could the problem this Section 179 carrover from 2022 is assigned to a rental property I converted to personal usage in 2023? If i change the carryovr loss t $0, TT removes the error flag.
I had a similar situation except that I sold the property in 2022. TT showed the Sect 179 carryover on the carryover worksheet and then told me that I had an error. I changed the carryover to zero and the error went away. I think TT needs to fix their program to account for Sect 179 carryovers when the rental property/business is no longer in-use.
Thanks for your reply.
Seems strange. I am hoping someone from TT would respond....they seem to reply on others that imply TT is making an error.
