My Schwab 1099-B has incorrect short term transaction data due to the TD Ameritrade transition.
The description has the wrong number of shares which leads to an incorrect proceeds amount and an incorrect date acquired (9/1/23 when my transition from TDA occurred vs. the actual real dates which are from past years, i.e. long term). It also doesn't have any cost basis ("Missing") but I have records for that.
If I put in the Schwab 1099-B info as reported to the IRS, some of my LTCG will be reported as STCG and will increase my tax liability. I don't see anyplace in TT to correct bad 1099-B info, especially for the description, the date acquired and proceeds amount.
I'm using TT Premier so any ideas on how to report this correctly?
