Did you take the annual election to expense an asset under $2500 instead of depreciating it? Did you enter that amount under "Other Miscellaneous Expenses"? If not, TurboTax may be asking for that expense amount. Let me know if that is what it is, thanks.

Make sure you put 0 for the dollar amount in each line if you did not have a dollar amount to write off this year. You can’t just leave it blank.

A zero without a description could be causing the error. Look to see if you have a description without an amount or an amount without a description for other expenses.
