Schedule D AMT is not reporting the data for Box E in Part II Line 9. It appears to be a software bug that has not been addressed. (TurboTax Premier Windows Desktop)
If I ignore this and accept the program's entry then TurboTax is going to be on the hook for thousands of dollars of AMT tax due since they guarantee my return is 100% accurate, so I really suggest that this issue be addressed and a reply with instructions posted.
Only 7 days to the filing deadline -- but this issue was reported by another user, AJ101, on March 29, 2023. Come on guys.

I am glad to see I was not the crazy one here! I have been grappling with this for all this while trying several things (like deleting the Box E trades and seeing their effect, changing Box E to Box D and seeing their effect, etc). Clearly, Box E is screwing up the way "Schedule D AMT" works in an atrocious way - my tax burden is several thousand dollars higher due to these Box E items - if I change Box E to Box D (nothing else), the tax burden goes down to what I was expecting and my AMT goes away as well. I truly believe this is a Turbo Tax bug. Going to reach out to Turbo Tax as @Anonymous_ suggested.
