Why is my saved state return not listed on the list when I open turbotax?  Also why can't I make estate 2K-1 adjustments on the state return that is different from the federal

The state return is part of the federal return.  They are not separate tax files.  Open the federal return, and enter the adjustments as a separate K-1 on the federal return.  Then when you click on State Taxes at the top, all of your federal information will transfer to the WI state return.

So you make a separate saved copy to save on your computer?

Re WI 2K-1 addition/subtraction adjustments, why would you make that on the federal return, when they only belong on the "WI return?  Some entries aren't even allocated to the Federal Return, just the WI return.  Thanks anyway Dawn.

Sorry, meant to write, so you can't make just a separate saved state copy for your computer?  I did notice when I went thru the state return, it did save with the 1040, but then I needed to make some corrections to the state and it wouldn't let me.  There were no edit buttons like the 1040.
