Robinhood import not available yet

Hi,

I am done with my return online except for entering my 1099 from Robinhood for crypto buys/sells. It will not be ready for another week or two per Intuit TurboTax. Is it possible to somehow start now by using the monthly statements instead of waiting until February 16th? Any advice there or is it best not to do that to avoid mistakes and delays? I cannot afford to make a mistake and amend the return to delay the refund. Thanks.

If you have only a small manageable number of sell transaction to enter, you can enter them manually now.

Always triple check your Schedule D/Form 8949 reports especially when you use the TurboTax Import feature.

I carefully entered my summary info from Vanguard's year end summary.

But when the 1099-B arrived the results did not match.

I can't figure how that happened. It is a mystery but I made the adjustments before e-Filing.

look at @fanfare remarks. that's a possibility. what you enter and what's on the reporting form won't match.  if they don't you may have to manually delete all your entries. no problem if there are a few but some taxpayers have hundreds.
